Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a teen at FM 57 in Fisher County, TX on July 5th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 4:20 a.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Tahoe operated by 21-year-old Matthew Renteria is believed to have been headed southwest at the time. Police believe the vehicle veered from the road and lost control while attempting to return to the road. The vehicle went into a skit and struck an embankment before overturning through a wire fence. A 17-year-old passenger was ejected from the vehicle, suffering suspected serious injuries. Police say Renteria and a second passenger were not injured. Additional information was not available.
