Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a teen at Loop 323 and Lavender Rd in Smith County, TX on March 6th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2:57 a.m. Police are saying a Ford F-150 was allegedly traveling at a high rate of speed when it lost control at a curve. It then veered over a center median before losing control and overturning into a center median. The driver of the vehicle, a 17-year-old male, was seriously injured. Police allege the teen had been drinking prior to the crash but was not intoxicated. Additional information was not immediately available.
