Authorities are investigating a crash that injured a teen at State Hwy 118 in Jeff Davis County, TX on February 17th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 2:50 a.m. According to investigators, Chevrolet Spark was headed northbound prior to veering from its lane into a shoulder. The vehicle is said to have left the roadway before going into a skid and striking a rock embankment. The vehicle rotated through a fence before striking a tree and becoming disabled. Reports say the 17-year-old driver was seriously injured and reports suggest the possibility of possible alcohol involvement in the crash.
