Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a teen at State Hwy 349 in Midland, TX on April 18th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 5:53 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by a 51-year-old Midland man was reportedly at the stop sign intersection of County Road 130 and State Hwy 349 while a Chevrolet Silverado operated by a 17-year-old male was toeing a trailer and headed south on Hwy 349. The tractor-trailer is accused of failing to yield right of way from the stop sign and colliding with the Silverado as it approached. A 15-year-old passenger in the Silverado suffered minor injuries. The truck driver was uninjured and charged with Failure to Yield Row- Stop Intersection. Additional information was not available.
