Authorities are investigating a crash that injured three people at State Hwy 361 in Port Aransas, TX on March 15th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 11:28 p.m. Investigators say a Kia Optima was northbound on Hwy 361 before collided head-on with a Nissan Armada. Reports allege the driver of the Armanda may have been inattentive for some amount of time prior to the collision, which left a 16-year-old occupant of the Kia to be seriously injured. Two other teen passengers had less serious injuries. Sources indicate the driver of the Kia was charged with Minor in Possession of Alcohol. Additional information was not immediately available.
