Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a collision that injured a teen at US 87 in Potter County, TX on January 31st, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 10:02 a.m. A commercial truck operated by a 60-year-old Waurika, OK man was headed northbound on US 87 when it collided with the passenger side of a Toyota Rav4 overturned on the roadway. Investigators the Toyota, occupied by a 16-year-old male, had previously overturned and landed upright in the inside lane and disabled. The teen suffered serious injuries in the collision while the truck driver was not injured.
