Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a teen at Ward and Valley View Dr in Johnson County, TX on August 3rd, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 12:44 a.m. A Mazda 6 operated by a 17-year-old Burleson male reportedly veered from its lane and crashed into a telephone pole. The teen suffered serious injuries and reportedly attempted to flee the scene prior to police arrival. Police issued charges for Driving While Intoxicated, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
