What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a teen at FM 1902 in Johnson County, TX on October 9th, 2023. Police say the incident happened as an SUV allegedly traveling into a no-pass zone in an effort to pass other vehicles. Officials say as it did to, the vehicle collided with an oncoming SUV, leaving a 17-year-old passenger with fatal injuries at the scene. The other driver, also 17, was hospitalized with undisclosed injuries as well as the driver of the first SUV. Additional information was not available.
