Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a collision that killed a teen at FM 3009 and FM 1683 in Comal County, TX on April 9th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 8:30 a.m. According to investigators, a box truck is alleged to have been headed northbound in southbound lanes prior to colliding head-on with a Toyota Sienna. Authorities say the 16-year-old driver of the Toyota was fatally injured at the scene. The driver of the box truck was hospitalized with alleged serious injuries. Authorities did not have any additional information available.
