Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a teen at State Loop 335 in Randall County, TX on June 7th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 12:45 a.m. According to investigators, a westbound BMW 328i allegedly crossed into an eastbound for unknown reasons. It then collided head-on with an eastbound tractor-trailer before catching fire in the collision. A 17-year-old occupant of the BMW suffered fatal injuries in the crash. The semi-truck operator was hospitalized with injuries believed to be minor in nature. Additional information was not immediately available.
