Garza County Sheriff's Office authorities are investigating a collision that killed a teen at US 84 near Southland in Garza County, TX on September 8th, 2024. Police say the incident happened when a Hyundai Sonata allegedly fled a traffic stop after it was reported stolen. Authorities say while fleeing, the vehicle left the roadway at an overpass before losing control and crashing into a flatbed truck, catching fire as a result.
