What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a hit-and-run accident at FM 1532 in Delta County, TX on June 5th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 3:30 a.m. According to investigators, an eastbound vehicle struck a 17-year-old male who was in or near the roadway at the time. Following the collision, the vehicle left scene without stopping to render aid. The teen suffered fatal injuries in the collision. Police are currently searching for the whereabouts of the vehicle and driver.
