What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a pedestrian accident that injured a man at Culebra Road in San Antonio, TX on May 14th, 2023. Officials say it happened around 10:30 p.m. as a pedestrian, who was not publicly identified, was allegedly crossing the road. Investigators believe the man was struck by a truck in a middle lane before the truck fled the scene. The pedestrian, a 16-year-old male, was hospitalized with serious injuries he later died from. Police later located a suspect, identified as 46-year-old Greg Gonzales. Officials say Gonzales was arrested on a failure to stop and render aid charge.
