Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at US 75 and Park Ln in Dallas, TX on June 5th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 4:28 a.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Challenger operated by a 17-year-old male was reportedly disabled in a lane of travel before it was struck by an approaching Ford F-150 operated by 44-year-old Willie Hopkins. Police allege the teen may have been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the collision and was taken to an area hospital for treatment of injuries he later died from. Hopkins suffered minor injuries in the crash. Additional information was not immediately available.
