Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a man at FM 1460 in Georgetown, TX on October 12th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 4:29 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford Fusion operated by a 31-year-old Temple man is alleged to have failed to control its speed before colliding with a vehicle stopped for a red light. The impact from the collision is said to have pushed the vehicle into two other vehicles ahead. Officials say none of the occupants of the vehicles that were struck were injured. The Temple man had serious injuries, police say. Authorities allege suspicion the man may have consumed alcohol prior to the collision.
