Authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Loop 289 in Lubbock, TX on February 20th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 1:43 p.m. Investigators say a Nissan Armada was northbound on Loop 289 before veering from the roadway towards an off ramp before crossing into a median and colliding with the rear of a Dodge Journey parked n the median. It continued forward and struck a Dodge Ram 3500 before coming to a stop. Reports indicate the driver of the Nissan, identified as 540year-old Teresa Thomas, was killed.
