What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at Great Trinity Forest Way in Dallas, TX on January 7th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 10:09 a.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Ram operated by Victor Brown was headed eastbound at a speed that was reportedly above the posted limit when it took evasive action and collided with the back left of a Chevrolet Tahoe operated by 47-year-old Terese Robinson. It then crossed over a a center median while the Tahoe overturned, entering into the path of a Chevrolet Trailblazer operated by 56-year-old Martin Jimenez Munoz. The Trailblazer struck the Tahoe causing it to roll backwards and leaving Robinson with serious injuries. She was taken to an area hospital where she died shortly after arrival. Munoz was evaluated for possible injuries as was Brown. Police allege Brown was under the influence at the time of the crash.
