What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at Bluhm Rd in McLennan County, TX on September 18th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 2:08 p.m. A Chevrolet C1500 operated by 46-year-old Terry Adair was headed northeast on Bluhm Rd at a speed that investigators say was unsafe for the road conditions. As it came upon gravel on the roadway, the vehicle lost control, crashing into a guardrail just past Whiskey Rd. A 51-year-old male passenger suffered serious injuries while Adair was evaluated for possible injuries. Responding officers say there was the odor of alcohol allegedly present on Adair at the scene and placed Adair under arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.
