Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a collision that injured a driver at State Hwy 46W in New Braunfels, TX on October 13th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 12:49 p.m. As a commercial truck operated by a 50-year-old McQueeney man changed lanes, investigators say it collided with a Kia Optima operated by 67-year-old Terry Alan Meissner. The impact pushed the Kia from the road into a ditch and Meissner suffered minor injuries. The other driver was not injured.
