Austin Police confirmed the name of the person killed in a hit-and-run at South Congress Ave in Austin, TX on September 19th, 2021. Authorities say it happened around 8:16 p.m. Terryn Dee Strahan was walking southbound when an unidentified vehicle headed northbound somehow came into contact with and struck Strahan. The vehicle never stopped to render aid and fled the scene, leaving Strahan behind. She was taken to an area hospital with injuries she died from a few hours later.
