Authorities are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred on Farm-to-Market Road 442 in Wharton County, TX, on December 21, 2024, at approximately 12:33 a.m. According to investigators, a BMW 740, allegedly operated by 51-year-old Theron Taylor, veered off the roadway and struck a culvert Taylor, who was pronounced deceased at the scene, sustained fatal injuries.  Police say the area was dimly lit at the time of the crash, possibly impacting driver visibility.
