Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at FM 1585 in Hockley County, TX on August 21st, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 8:15 p.m. A GMC Sierra operated by 30-year-old Andrew Kevin Whitley was reportedly traveling eastbound in a westbound lane when it collided with a Chevrolet Silverado operated by 53-year-old Andrew Kevin Whitley. Both drivers were seriously injured and Whitley was suspected of allegedly being under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.
