What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at State Hwy 163 in Ozona, TX on October 22nd, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 2:50 a.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Colorado operated by 23-year-old Thomas Reyes was allegedly headed northbound at the time. The vehicle is said to have been allegedly traveling at a high rate of speed prior to veering from its lane into curb. The vehicle entered onto 14th Street where it struck a nearby gas station support pillar and gas pump. Police say Reyes was seriously injured in the crash. No other injuries were reported.
