What Happened

Authorities in the area are investigating an incident that left three people injured at US 83 Relief Route near Penitas, TX on March 31st, 2025. Reports indicate a tractor-trailer was involved in a crash that saw the vehicle hang from an overpass. The tractor portion of the vehicle is said to have become detached from the vehicle and fell, striking a vehicle under the overpass. Two occupants of the passenger vehicle as well as the truck operator were all hospitalized for treatment of undisclosed injuries. Authorities did not have additional informaiton available.
