What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that injured three people at FM 179 and FM 2641 in Lubbock County, TX on March 9th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 7:03 p.m. According to investigators, a Nissan Sentra eastbound on FM 2641 is alleged to have failed to yield at the FM 179 intersection. Reports say the vehicle collided with a southbound Chevrolet, the collision seriously injuring the 37-year-old driver of the Chevrolet. The other driver, age 16, had less serious injuries, reports say, as did a 17-year-old passenger. None of those involved were publicly identified and authorities did not have any additional information available.
