What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that injured at least three people at I-10 in Vidor, TX on June 29th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 3:44 a.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet C1500 is alleged to have failed to control its speed prior to colliding with the rear of an eastbound Toyota 4Runner. Reports indicate the driver of the Toyota, a 35-year-old man who was not publicly identified, was one of two occupants in that vehicle with minor injuries. An additional, 31-year-old occupant who also was not publicly identified, was allegedly more seriously injured. The other driver was not allegedly uninjured.
