Authorities in Fairfield, TX, are investigating a three-vehicle crash that occurred on December 22, 2024, at approximately 10:00 p.m. on the exit ramp of Interstate 45. A Toyota Camry was traveling north when it encountered a domestic animal in the road, changed lanes unsafely, and collided with a Nissan Versa. The impact pushed the Versa into a third vehicle, a Honda Civic. The 23-year-old driver of the Camry sustained a minor injury. The 53-year-old driver of the Versa also sustained a minor injury, while a 57-year-old passenger in the Versa sustained suspected serious injuries. The 24-year-old driver of the Civic was uninjured.
