Authorities have information on a crash that injured three people at Loop 289 in Lubbock, TX on January 11th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 8:36 a.m. According to investigators, a Jeep Cherokee had been headed southeast on Loop 289 prior to veering from the road. While attempting to return to the road, reports say the vehicle lost control and instead crossed into nearby median. There, police say the vehicle overused into a nearby field, the impact causing a front seat passenger to be ejected from the vehicle. The passenger, a 21-year-old man who was not publicly identified, was allegedly seriously injured. Both the 20-year-old driver and a 2-year-old passenger had injuries believed to be non-life-threatening in nature, reports say.
