Authorities are investigating a crash that injured three people at North Loop Rd and FM 76 in Socorro, TX on December 16th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 9:06 p.m. According to investigators, a Nissan Pathfinder was eastbound, allegedly traveling at an unsafe speed as it approached Bauman. The vehicle to have lost control while attempting to slow down, skidding over a curb and airborne. Upon landing, police say the vehicle went into an irrigation canal, seriously injuring the 15-year-old driver and two other teen passengers. Reports show an Intoxication Assault charge was recommended and/or issued against the driver. Additional information was not available.
