What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that injured at least three people at Port Ave and Broadway St in Corpus Christi, TX on May 3rd, 2204. Police say the incident happened around 10 p.m. According to investigators, a Lincoln MKZ headed eastbound on Port Ave is alleged to have failed to remain in its lane of travel before entering into a westbound lane. There, police say the vehicle collided with a Honda Civic, the collision leaving the 29-year-old operator of the Honda seriously injured. Her 32-year-old passenger and an additional 11-year-old passenger both had less serious injuries, police say. The 59-year-old operator of the Lincoln had possible, unconfirmed injuries and allegedly charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
