Authorities have information on a crash that injured five people at Wellborn Rd and Jones Crossing in College Station, TX on January 20th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 7 p.m. According to investigators, a vehicle operated by 35-year-old Edgar Castillo is alleged to have been speeding prior to colliding with a vehicle at an intersection. The collision is said to have created a chain-reaction type crash involving three other vehicles. Three individuals involved had undisclosed injuries. Reports allege that Castillo was suspected of being under the influence and state charges for DWI and possession of drug paraphernalia were recommended and/or issued.
