What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured three people at I-10 and Mason Rd in Harris County, TX on December 18th, 2021. They say the incident happened around 3:19 a.m. An Acura ILX operated by an unidentified 20-year-old male driver is said to have allegedly run a traffic light and collided with a Chevrolet Silverado operated by 21-year-old Noe Nino Soriano. Police allege the Acura driver may have been intoxicated and distracted by a cellphone at the time of the collision. Three of Soriano's passengers were injured, including one with serious injuries. The Acura driver suffered minor injuries while Soriano was not injured. Additional information was not available.
