Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Sam Houston Pkwy in Harris County, TX on April 23rd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 6:20 a.m. According to investigators, a Nissan Maxima operated by 63-year-old Thurston Hooper Johnson was headed northbound when, according to a witness at the scene, it traveled through a green light at the intersection. A commercial truck operated by a 35-year-old Houston man reportedly ran a red light and collided with the Nissan, causing minor injuries to Johnson. The Houston man was not injured.
