Texas Department of Public Safety Officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 67 in Tom Green County, TX on July 27th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 8:22 p.m. A Hyundai Tucson operated by 50-year-old Tia Jones was headed northbound when it veered from its lane into a ditch. The vehicle went into a skid and hit a wire fence and several woodpiles before rolling to the side. Jones suffered serious injuries and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
