Texas Department of Safety Public officials are investigating a crash that injured several people at Dowlen Rd and Gladys Ave in Beaumont, TX on June 22nd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 12:45 p.m. According to investigators, a operated by Walter “Loddie” Naymola is accused of traveling at an alleged high rate of speed prior to losing control and collided with a southbound vehicle while attempting to go around traffic. This led to a collision involving four other vehicles and eight people involved, including Naymola, were hospitalized for treatment of various injuries. Also injured were 21-year-old Tiffany Barnaby and 34-year-old Matthew Esthay. Police allege suspicion that alcohol may have played a role in the crash.
