Texas Department of Public Safety officials have information on a collision that injured a driver at Idalou Rd in Lubbock, TX on October 7th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 7:42 a.m. A tractor-trailer headed southbound on an access road of Loop 289 is said the have failed to yield at it approached a stop sign intersection. Investigators say the truck collided with the drivers side of an eastbound Ford Expedition operated by 52-year-old Timothy Beck. Beck suffered minor injuries in the collision while the other driver was not injured. Responding officers issued a citation Failure to Yield Row Stop Sign against the truck driver.
