What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials identified the pedestrian injured in a collision at FM 1774 in Todd Mission, TX on November 6th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 7 p.m. 24-year-old Timothy Geiger was reportedly walking southbound on FM 1774 when he was struck by a northbound Kia SUV operated by 62-year-old Bruce Boyer. Investigators say that Geiger failed to yield right of way and that he was hospitalized with very serious injuries that he died from. Police say that it is suspected that Geiger was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the collision. No charges have been filed at this time and additional information was not available.
