What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at FM 1255 in Van Zandt County, TX on August 22nd, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 3:30 a.m. A Dodge Ram operated by 20-year-old Timothy Louis Peden was traveling northbound on FM 1255 when it crossed a center stripe and went into a skid. The vehicle overturned, causing serious injuries to Peden. Police charged Peden with DWI.
