What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at Haskell Ave in Dallas, TX on December 17th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 1:28 a.m. Investigators say a Kia Soul operated by 25-year-old Samuel Patrick Bowser was headed southeast on North Haskell when it veered over a raised curb onto a sidewalk after a turn. It then struck a utility pole and pedestrian walking on the sidewalk. The pedestrian, identified as 24-year-old Christopher Robert Maloney, suffered serious injuries. A passenger in the vehicle, identified as 25-year-old Tina Vo Le suffered serious injuries as well. Bowser was reportedly uninjured.
