What Happened

Mansfield Police are investigating a crash that killed a man at US 287 in Mansfield, TX on February 19th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 7:20 p.m. According to investigators, a pickup traveling on the service road lost control, possibly due to the driver suffering a medical emergency, and veered over a curb into a building. The impact caused the truck to catch fire and two people, including a child, were seriously injured. Both were taken to an area hospital where the driver later died.
