Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at I-635 and Royal Ln in Dallas, TX on July 5th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 5:30 p.m. A Buick passenger vehicle operated by 48-year-old Tony Marcellus Reid reportedly lost control and veered into a barrier wall. The impact caused the vehicle to bounce off and strike a Ford F-150 operated by a 23-year-old Dallas man. Reid suffered serious injuries in the crash. Responding officers say that Reid had allegedly been drinking prior to the crash.
