Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at US Hwy 281 in San Antonio, TX on February 21st, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 4:33 a.m. A Dodge Ram 1500 operated by 33-year-old Torrance Abrams was reportedly headed westbound on Loop 1604 as a tractor-trailer operated by a 23-year-old San Antonio man was headed southbound. Police say a witness at the scene informed them they allegedly saw the Dodge run a red light and collide with the tractor-trailer. Abrams suffered serious injuries and records indicate he was issued a Driving While Intoxicated. The other driver was not injured. Additional information was not immediately available.
