Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Lone Star Rd in Mansfield, TX on September 14th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 8:28 a.m. A box truck operated by a 24-year-old Wichita Falls, TX man collided with the rear of an Infiniti JX35 operated by 41-year-old Toshia Maldonado. Maldonado suffered minor injuries in the collision. The other driver, who allegedly told police that their foot became caught between the brake and gas pedal to cause the accident, was not injured.
