Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Kirkwood Blvd in Southlake, TX on January 29th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 12:51 p.m. According to investigators, a Toyota Scion operated by 18-year-old Travis William Vinson was allegedly traveling at a high rate of speed before it lost control and struck a curb. It then traveled over the curb and collided with a group of trees before catching fire. A 16-year-old passenger in the vehicle was seriously injured. Vinson suffered less serious injuries.
