What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at US 290 and FM 359 in Waller County, TX on April 25th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 3:54 p.m. Investigators say a BMW operated by 21-year-old Valerie Uvalle was headed westbound on US 290 when it began to hydroplane as it approached the intersection with FM 359. A Toyota Avalon operated by 22-year-old Treon Livingston was stopped at the intersection when it was struck by the BMW. Both drivers reportedly suffered serious injuries and officers recommended and/or issued an Unsafe Speed citation.
