Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at US 259 in Upshur County, TX on February 24th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 4:21 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford Expedition was northbound on US Hwy 259 before drifting from the roadway for unclear reasons. The vehicle began veering towards a median, prompting the vehicle to attempt evasive action to return to the roadway. In the process, the vehicle went into a barrow ditch and overturned, ejecting the driver from the vehicle. The driver, identified as 33-year-old Tristan Miller, was taken to an area hospital with injuries he later died from. Additional information was not immediately available.
