Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at FM 81 in Helena, TX on September 14th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 3 p.m. A Toyota Tacoma operated by 44-year-old Troy Holt is accused of veering over double yellow lines onto the opposite direction lanes where it collided with a tractor-trailer operated by a 60-year-old Yoakum man. Holt suffered serious injuries in the collision. The Yoakum man an his 46-year-old passenger were both evaluated for possible injuries.
