Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at FM 493 and Monte Cristo Rd in Hidalgo County, TX on January 20th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 12:28 a.m. Investigators believe a Ford Taurus was headed northbound on FM 493 before losing control on the wet roadway. The vehicle is said to have lost control while navigating a curve in the roadway, veering from the road and overturning into multiple objects before hitting a tree and coming to rest.
