Authorities are investigating a crash that injured at least two people at US 77 and County Rd 2160 in Kleberg County, TX on July 18th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 6:59 p.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Ram 1500 is alleged to have failed to yield right of way from a stop sign before proceeding into an intersection and colliding with a Hyundai Kona. Authorities say a 61-year-old passenger in the Hyundai, who was not publicly identified, was seriously injured. Also seriously injured was a 61-year-old passenger in the Dodge. The drivers were allegedly uninjured and sources indicate a Failure to Yield Row: Stop Intersection charge was recommend and/or issued against the operator of the Dodge.
