Authorities in Jackson County, TX, are investigating a three-vehicle crash that occurred on March 3, 2025, at approximately 5:00 a.m. at the intersection of US Highway 59 and FM 710. A 2019 Freightliner Cascadia failed to yield at a stop sign and collided with a westbound 2025 Chevrolet Silverado, which then struck a 2013 Fontaine semi-trailer. The 51-year-old male driver of the Freightliner was cited for failure to yield. The 62-year-old male driver and 45-year-old female passenger in the Chevrolet sustained suspected serious injuries. Speeding and failure to yield were identified as contributing factors. The investigation is complete.
